AFP Cuprum SA was born on April 27, 1981, at the beginning of the current pension system, at the initiative of Codelco Chile workers who were part of the National Association of Copper Supervisors – ANSCO. Cuprum is now part of the Principal Financial Group, a large global financial services company headquartered in the United States.
