“Attending the FIS event in Singapore was worth the time investment. The candid discussions both on and off stage fostered an environment of open dialogue, making the sessions even more impactful. The peer-to-peer learning and networking opportunities were invaluable, providing deep insights and the opportunity to develop engagement opportunities in the future. Absolutely, for its impactful conversations, genuine connections, and the unique opportunity to engage with industry leaders. Very well-orchestrated event.”

“Such a great event – appreciate the openness and quality of discussions and fresh perspectives from asset owners and managers around the world.
A key benefit was the quality insights and networking opportunities with other asset owners.
It’s a resounding yes from me when it comes to recommending this event to peers.”

“It’s a high quality event with a unique and distinctive Asian regional focus and perspective on global issues. For me, this was an event with numerous key takeaways, but most importantly I came away from the event with newfound perspective and awareness of the groupthink that is capturing investors at the moment. This will lead to opportunities to stress test, prepare and diversify the portfolio for a scenario where that groupthink is wrong. I very much recommend the conference. The perspective that you get from networking with a different peer set is invaluable in my opinion.”
Andrew Fisher, head of investment strategy, Australian Retirement Trust (ART)
“I attended FIS Singapore for the first time, and as a panel speaker. It was a great experience to gain insights on geopolitics and investor attitudes in the Asia Pacific region.
A key benefit was sharing ideas with other global asset owners — the opportunity to network with peers and discuss both challenges and opportunities was incredibly valuable.
Yes, I would recommend this event to peers. It offered quality speakers and a strong learning experience.”
Agnes Hong, head of public equities, Aware Super
"FIS Singapore offered valuable learning opportunities through peer engagement and expert panels. It was a reminder that the investment world is more diverse than we often assume. I would recommend this event to peers for the chance to interact with other institutional clients and learn from their experiences."
Ms. Poh Huay Imm, senior director, Prudential Plc
“Attending the FIS event in Singapore was a great opportunity to reconnect with peers and engage in meaningful discussions about the current investment environment.
A key takeaway was the reinforced understanding of the significant structural shifts shaping the investment landscape. This necessitates a critical re-evaluation of our core assumptions and a proactive reassessment of portfolio positioning if we are to effectively navigate future challenges and capitalise on the emerging opportunities for our clients.
I would highly recommend the FIS event. There’s a wealth of expertise available at these gatherings and the agenda spans a diverse array of topics — from portfolio construction, to asset class management, geopolitics, and the impact of AI disruption. The discussions were tremendously interesting and it’s a hugely rewarding investment of one’s time.”
Nat Johnston, head of total portfolio strategy management, GIC
“The FIS Singapore conference was yet another great experience with knowledgeable speakers and senior level participants. The agenda items were all relevant and topical, and provided good insights into the current developments around the world and more specifically in Asia.
The benefit of FIS conferences lies in the opportunity to discuss current affairs with experts and peers in an inclusive environment. As such, there is a huge learning opportunity, but also a way to share one’s own experience. This is a win-win for all participants.
Therefore, I would certainly recommend others to join the FIS conferences.”

“This is my third year at the Fiduciary Investors’ Symposium, and I enjoy it more each time. Asset owners come to Singapore from as far as Australia, the Middle East, and North America. Each year, there’s a mix of familiar and new faces. The format is cozy and interactive, with pop quizzes and table discussions. (The participant with the largest AUM gets the privilege of presenting for the table.) Serious issues get their due—but we still find moments to laugh.
Thanks to Amanda White for the annual opportunity to unveil new charts each year, and for providing both an audience and a sounding board for the questions on my mind. Looking forward to tomorrow—and next year.”
